Lindsay's Slumber

Dearest Lindsay, slumbering downstairs,
how cute you do look with your wild and crazy hairs,

Sleeping with the kitties snuggled around
your dreams of me they do abound,

I suppose you couldn't handle Jersey Shore
it was cute to see your expression when 'Snooki' hit the floor,

I wonder what shall we do tonight
out of town I will be going tomorrow shortly after first light,

I wish you could come with me, it would be so much fun
Too bad that Wednesday afternoon is when I'll be done,

What shall we do Wednesday when I get back,
Shall we develop our hiking skills that we so lack?

Lindsay Poem #1

Oh Lindsay, how you do sleep so fair
your pillow laying to bed your wild and crazy hair,
You cuddle the sheets to your beautiful face
how happy you are in your restful space,
Sleeping ever so gently, not a care on Earth,
You do dream the cutest dreams even since birth,
This website I do write to tell your tale
in the way that I see it, through poetry, bright or pale,
I will part, leaving you with this thought
for you are the one for whom is sought.

Ode to Lindsay

Lindsay, her qualities so pure
From the top of her head to the bottom of her feet, what a lure
Her love for others and zest for life
how sure is am I that she will make a glorious wife
Apart, Lindsay and I are sad, what brings them together, Love, is the cure
Her hobbies, her crafts she does perfect with thought
Asked for a list of her imperfections, I respond "few to naught"
Her amazing smile, her blue, gray eyes
Little to my amazement, my Love of her grows every day with size
Her perfect beauty, astonishing qualities are what are sought.
Lindsay has hair ever so wild
Her temper, meek and mild
Her generosity is to make friends full of glee
I want more and more of her, as she does of me
Her curiosity is like that of a child.
She must know of what present you do hide
Is it in the closet, my time I will bide
"I must know" she decrees as a warning
My response, "I will show you in the morning"
Patience is a virtue, as is waiting by the tide.
Lindsay, My Love

This blog is devoted to the Love of my life, Lindsay.  She has been an inspiration in all that I do and all that I am becoming.  I know that you must have asked yourself why a man has created a blog devoted to his one true Love.  The answer is simple.  Love.  The main theme of this website is going to be poetry and short stories.  I hope you enjoy the thoughts that inhabit my mind regarding Lindsay.
