Ode to Lindsay

Lindsay, her qualities so pure
From the top of her head to the bottom of her feet, what a lure
Her love for others and zest for life
how sure is am I that she will make a glorious wife
Apart, Lindsay and I are sad, what brings them together, Love, is the cure
Her hobbies, her crafts she does perfect with thought
Asked for a list of her imperfections, I respond "few to naught"
Her amazing smile, her blue, gray eyes
Little to my amazement, my Love of her grows every day with size
Her perfect beauty, astonishing qualities are what are sought.
Lindsay has hair ever so wild
Her temper, meek and mild
Her generosity is to make friends full of glee
I want more and more of her, as she does of me
Her curiosity is like that of a child.
She must know of what present you do hide
Is it in the closet, my time I will bide
"I must know" she decrees as a warning
My response, "I will show you in the morning"
Patience is a virtue, as is waiting by the tide.
